Tamworth Borough Council’s Arts and Events team have pulled together two of the best reggae and ska tribute bands for an evening to remember on Wednesday, August 3, with tickets priced at £5!

Absolute Reggae is the supreme live show for true reggae fans, with multi award winning band Johnny2Bad. The music that filled the airwaves in the 80s and 90s is bought to life again, as the band who once backed Sting and Pato Banton, recreates the million selling songs of the reggae era.

Come along to hear hits from UB40, ASWAD, Inner Circle, Bob Marley and Big Mountain and more.

The second band is UK’s Number 1 tribute to the nutty boy’s ska band. Complete Madness will take you down memory lane with a lively, energetic and fun packed tribute show you are ever likely to see.

Probably the most sought after, hardworking, and renowned Madness tribute band in Europe, Complete Madness expertly cascade all the nuttiest sounds around onto the excited, expectant audience. You don't have to be a madness fan to enjoy this show, just enjoy being entertained.

This outstanding tribute evening is part of the Tamworth Borough Council’s Castle Summer Fest taking place from July 22 to August 13, and includes three large concerts by world-renowned artists such as Jack Savoretti, Melanie C, Belinda Carlisle, Howard Jones, Thompson Twins’ Tom Bailey, Boney M, The Fizz, Toyah, Katrina of The Waves and Pat Sharp.

These incredible shows welcome families of all ages, with many shows offering children aged nine and under FREE admission. (Must book a ticket in advance)

There will also be FREE live music shows, a whole host of sports events and demonstrations, the UK’s largest inflatable obstacle course, a 5k fun run, silent disco, Bingo Lingo, a world record breaking attempt and much more.

In addition, between July 28 and August 8, live coverage of the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games will be shown on a large screen in the grounds as part of the event.
