Art Brasil

ART BRASIL is a non-profit collective of artists specialising in Brazilian percussion, song & dance.

We work in the community, education and corporate sectors delivering workshops for all ages, abilities and levels to achieve our key aims:

- develop skills, increase confidence and self esteem and encourage a healthy and active lifestyle.

- widen participation in the arts and provide new opportunities for children, young people and adults through arts and cultural activities.

- promote social inclusion, cultural awareness, respect and understanding and to help bridge social, cultural and generational gaps.

Some examples of our work include:

- special workshop day visits to schools

- seated dance/music programme for older people's groups and those living with dementia

- one off workshops for community groups, music groups, choirs etc

- team building workshops for company training days and conferences
