Tamworth Christmas Lights Switch On

FREE event - no tickets required.

The yuletide season will be kicked off in style, as the town prepares for the annual Christmas Lights Switch-On and an afternoon of festive entertainment for the whole family!

The event starts from 12 noon until 5.30pm with the switch on at 5pm. (Holloway end of Tamworth Castle Grounds)

The lights will be switched on at 5pm by the Mayor of Tamworth and Santa's elves.

Saturday 7 Dcember is also Small Business Saturday so there's lots going on in town and all council-run car parks are free that day! Please note that Holloway car park and the road leading to it will be closed to traffic. You can find a map of all town centre car parks here
