Tamworth Christmas Lights Switch On

The yuletide season will be kicked off in style at the end of November, as the town prepares for the annual Christmas Lights Switch-On and an afternoon of festive entertainment for the whole family!

The event starts from 12 noon until 5.30pm with the switch on at 5pm. (Holloway end of Tamworth Castle Grounds)

Featuring:

• Bert & Gerts festive market
• Barker's Family Fun Fair
• Tamworth Round Table's Santa sleigh
• Live entertainment stage including:
  • Rory & The Revellers (Youth Battle of the Bands runners-up) - 1.20pm-1.50pm
  • Glen Chevannes and the Jango Dancers - 2.00pm-2.30pm
  • The D-Day Juniors and Tamworth Voices Choir - 2.40pm-3.10pm
  • Tamworth Pantomime Company - 3.20pm-3.50pm
  • Together Community Gospel Choir - 4.00pm-4.30pm
  • The Santa Show Elves  - 4.40pm-5.00pm
  • Lights Switch On - 5pm
  • Local music artist - 5.05pm-5.30pm

The lights will be switched on at 5pm by the Mayor of Tamworth and Santa's elves.

Don't forget that Tamworth Castle is open as usual from 9.30am - 4.30pm (last admission 2.30pm, admission fee applies)
