Welcome to Tamworth Assembly Rooms blog

Tamworth Assembly Rooms is closed… but don’t worry, it is only temporary. Thanks to generous funding from the Heritage Lottery Fund, the Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent local Enterprise Partnership and Tamworth Borough Council, we are beginning a major refurbishment of the building and have set up this blog to keep you up to date with all the developments. Over the coming months the team will be posting blogs about all the changes happening to the building and all the events and activities we will be putting on around Tamworth.

Whilst Tamworth Assembly Rooms is closed the Arts and Events Team will continue to support our local groups to perform around the town. We will also be working with schools and community groups throughout the project to explore the Heritage of Tamworth Assembly Rooms and all those who use it.
