Tamworth Assembly Rooms will be celebrating its 125th birthday on October 8th 2014.
Yesterday (12th March) 2pm – 8pm, Tamworth Assembly Rooms opened its doors to the public for them to get a glimpse at the future plans of the theatre as well as meet the design team behind the project and give their opinions on the designs.
Exciting new plans for the future of Tamworth Assembly Rooms are to be unveiled at a series of events next month – and members of the public are being invited to look at the designs and give their views.
Tamworth Assembly Rooms Heritage Team are holding another roadshow in March where members of the public are invited to look at the designs and give their views across to the team.
This weekend 29th & 30th November Tamworth Assembly Rooms are celebrating 50 years since The Rolling Stones played on our stage on December 2nd 1963.
In the 50s, Tamworth Assembly Rooms were host to a wide variety of events.
In Phase One of Tamworth Assembly Room Development Projects the team headed out to all the different areas of Tamworth to talk to the general public about the Assembly Rooms Redevelopment and gather vital data which will shape Phase Two of the project.
