Live musical shows, theatre performances, St George’s Day extravaganza, Tamworth in Bloom celebrations, outdoor cinema and We Love Tamworth festival – these are just some of the highlights lined up in Tamworth’s exciting new season of events.
Tamworth Borough Council’s Arts and Events team have been working hard to create a new and varied line up of shows and acts for Tamworth families and visitors to enjoy over the coming months.
Almost 1,000 movie lovers have voted to decide the two films that are shown at this year’s popular Outdoor Cinema in Tamworth Castle Grounds.
Votes were cast online and via social media after members of the public were invited to choose from a shortlist the films they would most like to see on a big screen in the great outdoors this summer.
The winning movies have now been revealed as Bohemian Rhapsody, which came out on top with 232 votes for the earlier 9pm slot, to be followed by a showing of Beetlejuice at 11.55pm, chosen by 85 people.
